I have a marathon in 10 days and I'm not even tweaking the stupid thing. I miss tweaking. I even miss Candice tweaking.
I want to take a day because I like being lazy and I want to watch season 2 of the Walking Dead. But I don't want to take a day off because I don't want to be lazy. At my core I run. Damn I'm not even making sense anymore.
The one thing I decided is that you guys were all wrong. Their is no such thing as empty miles. Every mile you run burns off about 124 calories. That is 124 more calories I can use to drink something like a Yuengling or a Sam Adams! Considering my low alchol tolerence I believe I need to even out my miles run to equal my beer drinking. Currently it is very one sided.
BTW - I miss grumpy MikeyMike. Ever since he stopped running marathons he seems like a nice person. I think you can judge how nice a runner is by the number of miles he/she runs.
I'm done I will send all of you a check for the my therapy session.

Consider this a good starting point.
You suck. You should just quit. Jackass. Welcome back.

This is incorrect. It depends how much you weigh. I probably burn about 90 cals per mile. You must be a fat ass.
How do you keep your feet on the ground, when you know you were born to fly?

I will be at Grumpy's tonight around 8pm, after the Thirsty Thursday workout. Stay Gold, Bearcat.
Runners run.

Smells like tweaking to me!
Proofread carefully to see if you any words out.

Yeah it depends on how fast you run as well. You should probably run faster and you would burn more calories. Just food for thought!
That is super fantastic! I bet your miles to alcohol ratio is pretty good :-)
Damn I'm not even making sense anymore.
You mean at one point, you actually made sense? I call BS
The pain that hurts the worse is the imagined pain. One of the most difficult arts of racing is learning to ignore the imagined pain and just live with the present pain (which is always bearable.) - Jeff

I'm still faster than you. And you burn more calories per mile than I do. One of us is doing it wrong!
(hint: it's not me)
Nice catch. The forecast leading up to Steamtown was for a cold and rainy morning, and Bearcat posted this under the alias of maerl2000
I ran Dallas White Rock in steady, cold rain last Dec. I lubed up my feet, wore toe socks, and wrapped my feet in plastic wrap before putting on shoes. I taped the top of the plastic wrap over my tights to keep out water, too. NO blisters.
