The 5k course was a bit short, only 4.66km according to the Garmin. Finished in 15:58 for 3rd place, so mission accomplished. I won a 45 lb. bag of rice. Hardest part of the day was walking that thing to the bus stop!

Gold star for running sub-16 5K.
But -10 for not doing the obvious thing and just eating the rice right there.
It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

Probably too late to add a goal but a) dont die - I think accomplished b) dont die - Jury is still out c) under 6 would be nice - Nope -6:01:00 I could have if I hadnt peed again. And then had the how stupid to have a 6 hour goal thought. d)drink beer, eat pie - A resounding victory. I ate and drank like a champ

Coolest Monkey story, IMO, and not MFEB eligible, but...
Tea Olive's husband was somehow conned into signing up for the marathon on Saturday. He has never run a marathon. He has never run more than 15 miles in a run.
He finished in like 4:40. That is so NOT monkey!!!
good job Mr. Olive
Thanks, Pauly! It was great to meet you this weekend!
My mistake, his time was actually 4:42:57. Still don't know how he did that on his training.
It must be stubbornness like DB said
