500 (Read 601 times)

So. By the end of March, we are supposed to be at 500 miles. 1/4 of the way through the year. 1/4 of the way to the goal. I thought about stopping at mile 6.5 during my run today. An even 500. But I was in the middle of beautiful woods and hills in Percy Warner Park. I was running with a gorgeous friend who I bumped into by chance. Hell No. I was not gonna stop. Pace Bunny, kiss my cotton tail! (BTW, I took them pics Big grin)
Way to be right on track Trent! Looking at those pictures makes me jealous. I wish I had a nice forest to lose myself in. I guess I will have to start making some trips to WI state parks once school lets out until then though, I will have to stick to the roads of Milwaukee.
Great great running in Wisconsin. Here is one of my favorites, although it is not near Milwaukee - click
Oh. I just noticed. I broke 200 miles for the month. I don't think I have ever done that before. Silly me. Muse. Paying attention? Evil grin

          keep running.

Pshhhhhhh fine. I'm coming for your stank ass! Smile BTW: I'm gonna hit 48 miles this week, comfortably. "I'm sayin."
running until I hit 1900 miles for the year. whether fast or slow I will just run.

So instead of running the 14 I planned for tomorrow, should I run 16.5? No problem. Just sayin'

Dude, take up aqua jogging for 2.5 miles. you know 1 mile of swimming is like 4 running miles? i want you to do good on your marathon! rest those leggies!

1 mile of swimming, what? Is that like running 26.2 miles on a treadmill in zero gravity is like running Boston?
I broke 200 miles for the month.
Huh. I just checked. Last year, my three biggest months were 183, 181 and 183. Those were my biggest months ever when I ran them. Cool!
1 mile of swimming is to running 4 miles as raking leaves is to playing beach volleyball. Trent, nice. How does 202 this year feel compared to 183 last year, if you remember?

My legs were tired a bit this morning, but not bad. The 202 I think was easier than the 183, and I did not even really realize I hit it. I KNEW I hit the 183.
Congrats, Trent. Not to steal your thunder, but I also had training firsts this month and this week. Both involve threes. Big grin

Nice tease. So I had to check. An almost 110 mile week? An almost 320 mile month? You need your own club. Hippie. Jesus. And you only ran 3 hours more than me. I feel so small.

                              To quote Trent. Sheesh.

I ended up doing a good run today. The 11.2 was just not enough for me. At least not once.
