Geist Half Marathon - Fishers, IN - Primary Goal sub-1:15, secondary 1:14:30.
I've been logging miles but frankly actual training has been in the shitter for over 3 weeks, I have not been able to put workouts together since I got sick. Despite that and this being a hilly course I will not soften my flat course goals from a few weeks ago. DBTFU.
2013 goals: Kick some arse. Moreso than 2012.

Geist HM - Fishers IN on May 22.
Who the hell knows a time but I am racing. Go hard or go home. <1:25 on a hilly course
Goal #2 - keep within 10 minutes of Spaniel and his 1:14. Mostly so he won't leave my ass in Fishers and make me run home.

If you drink my beer again I might anyways!
DBTFU.
This is a fantastic acronym.
Goal is to finish it
Your toughness is made up of equal parts persistence and experience. You don't so much outrun your opponents as outlast and outsmart them, and the toughest opponent of all is the one inside your head." - Joe Henderson
2013 H1: 7 hours/week base. Q3: Train for goal race. Q4: Goal Race.
Jemez 50 mile, Los Alamos, NM, May 22nd. Goal 11:30:00
I had considered doing this one. I look forward to hearing your report.
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.
Poor baby

Thanks for doing this PH,
Desford 10K its a bit hilly and I can't wear my Swamp top because its a closed club race so I will feel like Samson after his hair was cut. Also the Tri Club that head hunted me cycle to all the local races to prove they are stupid fitter than runners.
So lets go balls ot for a sub 41:00 which is 22 seconds quicker than last week.
Old age is when you move from illegal to prescribed drugs.
Cool, unless the field is a lot more competitve this year looks like you'll be right up front and easy to spot.
Norm did you sign up for that Month of May club thing?

You should be up front running this one too.
Didn't sign up for it. Money I can use for a race entry somewhere to bust another PR and DW already thinks I have enough shirts I don't wear. Heh.
Look forward to seeing you there. Still need to run with us at Eagle Creek.
