Not sure. I'm a fan of the430miler, in general. That either wasn't his best work or he was trolling or someone hijacked is username. Oh and I never said I wasn't moving to Europe. Just that more vacation days wouldn't be the reason if I did. Ha.

The search function on Letsrun sucks and most of the430miler's threads get deleted by the thread police. But in THIS thread, malmo quotes txRUNNERgirl's ode TO the430miler: I think the430miler is parodic a character--a fantastic one. The fact that he keeps getting deleted is just sad, especially with the amount of crap that gets left up there. I have a few guesses as to who is behind the430miler, but it could be anyone. I used to belong to a board on Kevin Beck's running site (before he tore it down a few years ago) that was full of these such characters. I came to figure out after a while that Scott Douglas (Pete Pfitzinger's co-author on RRSR and writer for Running Times, RWOL, etc.) was behind most of them. They were hilarious. Eve the430miler's name is designed to poke fun--the prevailing joke on letsrun is that every old timer there was a 4:30 miler in high school.
