corland 13.1 Ice Cube 1/2 Marathon <1:30
Happy with 1:30 on dry roads. I'd be satisfied with goal MP (1:35) if there's snow.

5K trail race on the 16th. I never really know how to treat these on the race thread. Last year I won with 20:50. Three years ago I got a distant third with 18:57. I'll say goal=win.
DNS -- Parks Service just canceled us, due to mud conditions.
It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.
WTF? Shouldn't that make it more "fun"?

A 5k trail race canceled due to "mud"? A 5k??
Proofread carefully to see if you any words out.

SELFISH, like you.
I presume to protect the pahk from maurading runners and not the other way round.

Roads were not completely clear. There were plenty of good/dry sections, but there were also a lot of icy sections where there was no footing at all. I didn't fall, but I observed a couple fantastic spills.
I ran 1:30:07
Nice!

This suggests to me that a very good running year is in store for you. Nice work.
I put it under there.
Not in Chicago
wtf, you couldn't run 8 seconds faster?
You suck. You should just quit. Jackass. Welcome back.
Fast is better than long
This. But kudos nonetheless.

What in the Jehu?
Failed on time (23:11, note to self, need to lose weight and get on the track), but got AG points anyway. Then went on an 11.5 mi trail run, so that's good for some HTFU points at least.
Success! 20:38. I think this may be the end of my newbie's PR-every-race-streak though, I ran really hard on this one and I can't imagine doing it any harder or faster.

Nice, Cory.
