Monkey Idiots 2012? (Read 3530 times)

I'm still hoping to make the drive out to volunteer and eat all the good stuff while you idiots are fending off monkey attacks.  But Happyfeet has bailed (so he said, anyway) ... and there went my hotel roommate.  Anyone have some spare floor or an empty bed for hire?  I'd say that folks here can vouch for me, but that's probably a negative.  Anyway, I'm clean, keep to myself (so far as you know), and not above currying favor with good beer.

Trent lost a NG Enigma Saturday night - RIP

I have bought a couple bottles for Trent in the past, but this was my wife and I 1st taste.  As a beer consumer and not a connoisseur - I found it interesting.  Not amazing or horrible - Just an interesting unique taste.

Don't worry Trent - The rest of your babies are safe, Althoug I think I will keep some hostage for later negotiations.

I still have 4 NG Saisons sitting around.  I'll hold onto those for Trent because I said I would.  However, I've had Serendipity, and I can't store any Serendipity because those won't survive in my house until Monkey.  Those are pretty good.  That will need to be a last minute purchase.

DB, I've heard Serendipity described as a cross between Belgian Red and Enigma.

There was a point in my life when I ran. Now, I just run.

Back beat, the word was on the street
That the fire in your heart is out
I'm sure you've heard it all before
But you never really had a doubt

        I'll vouch for this guy.

I was really freaked out at first because I thought it said 2 year old. Her zero key must not work.

I will be at the Nashville airport from noon to 3pm on Saturday to pick up Orange Mat and Wildchild.  Anyone else flying in during that time?  I have room in the car for another runner if someone needs a ride.

I am flying in at 5:45 pm, and I will be bringing my usual entourage, so I guess we will arrange for our own transport.  Thanks anyway, Holly S.  I am looking forward to seeing you.

Luckily for Trent the Liquor store that carries any and all New Glarus is near my kids school - I made a quick stop off before picking them up ... Somehow I feel a little dirty when I take them into the liquor store.

Although I will soon have to re-inforce the shelving to hold all the beer I have for Trent.  The question is:  Which beer and how much will I chose to bring trent this time and how much will I store for other years?

                  Because I caught myself - I hate that saying ... I'll try.

I will not try - I will either make the time or say FU Trent

We even look down on the parents that sat at a bar all day, go and pick their kids up at school - Go back to the bar, but make their kids stay in the car.  Unless they roll down the window a bit.

One of kids favorite summertime activities is to either drive or ride bikes to Solea and have Margarittas.  But we sit outside on the deck, so it mroe like camping then sitting at a bar ... right?

My Mom grew up in Ladysmith WI where she was raised by her aunt.  Her aunt owned a bar which was the front room of their home.  My Mom only took us up there once.  I was college age at the time, and it was like a dream to wake up and walk through the bar on the way to the kitchen. I'm not sure why my mom ever left.

                                The tangents are moot.

Set the bar low. Crawl under it.
