Maybe sabershooter needs a faster treadmill? (Read 694 times)

No wonder his pace is so slow.....

Brutal. What was that about relentlessly pounding whoever sits at the top of the leaderboard?
You people are killing me. Kill-ing-me. Modified to add: Hey, Saber ... is that a Country Music bib you're wearing in that picture?

True, but that doesn't change the fact that you are, indeed, classed as "special". Just like the rest of us. The windows taste like snozberries!

Yes it is a CMM bib, as you can see I got off track and ended up at the airport. Hence the slow finishing time.

Derek your photoshop abilities are impeccable. How long does it take you to come up with such art? Hey speaking of treadmills... what % incline do you guys use to make equivalent to outside? I use 1%

Careful. You're dangerously close to violating the Prime (and only) Directive of the 2000 Klub. Allow me to quote: Got something serious to say about training and racing? Well don't do it here! Take that stuff over to the main "General Running" and "Racing" forums where everyone can participate, not just the whackos amped up on testosterone who think running 2000 miles will somehow impress somebody. The forums here are for smack talk and general gibberish only. Ya got that? Don't do it again, or you'll be mocked ruthlessly. But since you brought it up, you might find this interesting (from a great link Scout7 posted this morning): http://mysite.verizon.net/jim2wr/id110.html Note: I have no opinion on the 1% thing - because I still have enough functional brain matter to avoid treadmills.

Cutting out the person form an existing image is the easy part. It takes me just a minute or so since I'm not too concerned about the accuracy. I actually spend more time trying to find 2 images to merge. For example, I had to search a bit to find a moving walkway taken at the right perspective and also a picture of sabershooter that is also at the correct perspective...or in this case, close enough. I wish I had a picture of him facing more forward. Once I have the 2 images and cut out the person, it then takes just another minute or so to combine them and resize the person so they fit into the environment.

Wow... yeah I love google image searching. Though... it's not particularly safe for virus protection and stuff... nice perspective though. Good going Smile You could produce a compendium of art toward Saber. Next thing you know you're in MOMA. hahah Sorry about my treadmill questions. So I guess my tempo makes more sense. He did a much better job on your photo than mine. It helps when the subject matter is more pleasing to the eye.

Found this on another forum.... it's brilliant eh? Why I Don't Run On Treadmills Listers- Well, I got my treadmill a couple weeks ago, and really like it. But, I am having one problem. I sweat really heavy, and by 7 miles the belt is getting slippery, I put a fan on it, that helps a little. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. A 'sweathog' Sweathog, Be careful. I had this same problem several years ago. A drop of sweat made its way down into the electronics. Something shorted out, causing a malfunction that made the machine suddenly to run at ultra-high speed. I was thrown off the back of the belt, against a wall, in a shower of blue sparks. The treadmill was totaled. I solved the problem (with my next treadmill) by buying a high-powered shop fan.
