They say golf is like life, but don't believe them. Golf is more complicated than that. "If I am still standing at the end of the race, hit me with a Board and knock me down, because that means I didn't run hard enough" If a lot of people gripped a knife and fork the way they do a golf club, they'd starve to death. "Don't fear moving slowly forward...fear standing still."

          Race: Bradbury Breaker

          Distance: 9 Miles

          Location: Bradbury Mountain, Pownal, Maine

          Goal: < 67:28

Last year I ran 67:28 and was in better shape. I had also run a 10k the day before. So...I'm hoping that balances and that we get good conditions this year and I can at least run a course PR.

Howl at the Moon 8hr, no real goals as training was in the shadow between nonexistent and spotty. Screw it, lets say 26.3.

                          Smashed it. 19:06.

Obviously the effort I'm setting out at is way to relaxed seeing as how I still feeling downright good at mile 2, and was basically good for sprinting the last 200m or so. Goal for next one definitely going to be to run hard, maybe even hard enough to fade good at the end. I gotta find this middle ground.

Congrats to Quint, who I guess hasn't posted his result yet didn't post his race at all.

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.
