Chelsea is on to the final after surviving Terry's red and a penalty miss by Messi. And Torres is the goal-scoring hero???? Just another crazy night in Spain (and you know I've mentioned that more than a few times in my life......amirite???...HAHAHAHAHA) FTR, I dislike Chelsea and this has the potential of harming Newcastle which I find troubling.

Lank - if you're into football and geeky analytical stuff ... you might like zonalmarking.net. This is from Chelsea - Barcelona on April 18
And the book 'Inverting the Pyramid: The history of football tactics' by Jonathan Wilson.
The process is the goal.
Men heap together the mistakes of their lives, and create a monster they call Destiny.
Wherever they go, shabby behavior ensues. They must be stopped.

Thanks for the link. Cool site. The Manchester derby is about to get underway. Please no spoilers.
The first homer of the season by a Cubs outfielder was hit yesterday. It is going to be a long season.
"Make no little plans. They have no magic to stir men's blood." -Daniel Burnham
It's the Cubs!
In lighter news, Pujols is tearing it up with 0 homers, 4 RBI, and a .216 average.
Doc, my tooth hurts
Eh, I actually enjoy having no expectations for the Cubs this year.
The Red Sox team ERA of 5.51 is 2nd worst in the majors but their bullpen ERA of 5.64 is highest in all of the Major Leagues. We're #1!
But more interesting is that their winningest pitcher to date, Clay Buchholz, who is 3-1, has an ERA of 8.69.
Go Sox!
Runners run.
Big Poppie hit homers off two of the A's best guys the other night, if I recall correctly. So there's that.
It's May 2nd and Dee Gordon has more home runs than Albert Pujols. In fact, Prince Fielder still has more stolen bases than Albert Pujols has home runs.
This is one I don't need to look up.
In one of the 2 or 3 baseball games I've watched this season, they cut to the highlight of Prince Fielder stealing a base. And all anyone on ESPN or the papers is talking about is how Pujols is homerless on the season.
I don't even know who Dee Gordon is but if he's in the major leagues then I'm willing to bet he has a home run.
Ergo, I'm pretty sure Lank has this one right. Not that I ever doubt him.
I accept both of your apology.
Alright, now this puts me in a funny position.
I cannot apologize in this place, but it seems that there may be a clip of Prince Fielder (successfully!) stealing a base. If I find it (and I will steal my entire paycheck for the day in this pursuit, if need be), well, I just don't know what I'll do. Brb.
MTA: YOUKNOWDAMNRIGHT!
MTAA: "Feeling 'frisky'..." heheh.
Here you go.
So far just an ad with a pretty girl enticing an obese man with a 5Hour Energy. Realistic.
MTA: Ah, that one's better. They show him getting a good jump. By the way, kudos to that guy. He can move.
