2000 miles of glute weakness

2000 miles in 2011 (Read 6639 times)

    Congrats BD

I am probably not going to make it this year. I just had a bad summer for running.  Kind of pissed at myself for not prioritizing it more.

It is still technically possible, but I would need to really ramp up the miles.  Since my plantar fasciitis is not being cooperative, I am not sure that will happen.  We shall see.  I'm building back up, and hopefully I can at least make it close.

I was about to fall behind the bunny, but I think I am beginning to pull away again. Damn knee.

I'm guessing 97 at most again this year, unless everyone around 1300 today starts burning serious rubber. Are we past the trade deadline?

Dammit I'm never going to make it.  Wink

About 99 runners are currently ahead of the pace ambulance.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.  I just checked this thread and saw my  name on the list and I was like, what, that can't be right.  So I checked my log and what do you know, I've jogged 2006 miles this year.  wtf, and I feel like I haven't been running at all.  Somehow that makes the prospects of getting into somewhat decent race shape seem a lot more daunting.

                This sport is dumb.

I am with you - I have never ran so many miles and been in such poor shape ???  I know why it is for me ... Inconsistency ... Lack of focus or purpose in many runs ... beer.  But that being said - 4 months of focus and consistency ? ... Who knows?

The question is ... who ahead of the pace bunny will get caught and who behind the bunny with get there?
