We've Got Big Hills
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.
Poor baby
My hope and prayer is that Blaine was too tired to log his last run when he got home last night...

Unfortunately, I didn't make it. Even if my knee had been 100% I wouldn't have had enough time to get in all the miles on the treadmill before they kicked me out and I'd have been very leery about going out in the weather. A good portion of the state had no power from the high winds and rain we got and visibility was bad enough I almost ran over somebody's mailbox on my own street on the way back from the gym.
I think at this point I'm going to take care of the knee for the next couple days, run with the folks I coach on Thursday night and see how it's doing, and will hopefully finish the month off with the 1 More Fat Ass for Sunshine 50k I am putting on on Sunday. I should be able to run at least 1 lap, hopefully I can do all 3 and get in my 31 miles for the day even if I missed these days in between.
And hey, at least Bad Dawg won the recovery socks.

2012 goals: Fastest race times since 2006.
Sounds like July for another go
If I ever try for 500 miles in a month again, I'll probably just run 125 miles per week as being a bit easier.
If for some reason I do decide to do this again, then I'll wait until I don't have to work the last few weeks as that also would make it a lot easier.
July probably would be better though. All those road miles were probably my downfall that last week.
If we don’t try we’ll never know. At least I can find out how good I can be. I can have an answer at the end of the days, and have a hell of a good time with the process. -Desi Davila
I'll be the "Hater". I say you dont' get over 350.
You gotta at least run 351. I hate it when Thunder is right.

As far as I know... this is the first time!! CONGRATS THUNDER!!
Sorry you didn't make it Blaine You had an awesome week last week, and your bar graph is really pretty. So there's that.
How do you keep your feet on the ground, when you know you were born to fly?
break'n three
You'll ruin your knees!
A good portion of the state had no power from the high winds and rain we got and visibility was bad enough I almost ran over somebody's mailbox on my own street on the way back from the gym.
God didn't want you to be successful.
Besides, running is stupid... it'll ruin your knees.
I think God takes July off... good luck in your next attempt.

New chapter forthcoming
I did say you wouldn't break 3:10 at Chicago too. Damn it hurts to be this good.
Blaine, I wish I had been wrong.
Time for the relaunch. Stay tuned....
Yea but I never said I wanted to. I said I wanted to run 3:10, not break it. Do we have to go over this again?
