Yea but I never said I wanted to. I said I wanted to run 3:10, not break it. Do we have to go over this again?

This is about Blaine, and his awesome slightly less than 350 miles he was able to put in.  He did a great job, we all wish he would have proved me wrong.  This isn't about you kiddo.

Time for the relaunch.  Stay tuned....

       You brought it up, kiddo.

How do you keep your feet on the ground, when you know you were born to fly?

As far as I know... this is the first time!! CONGRATS THUNDER!!

I guess this was me bringing it up.

Time for the relaunch.  Stay tuned....

Nope. Wrong again. Jeff brought it up.

Anyway, quit changing the subject. This thread is about BLAINE.

I did say you wouldn't break 3:10 at Chicago too.  Damn it hurts to be this good.

Blaine, I wish I had been wrong.

so about that sub-5 hr 50k....

so about that sub-5 hr 50k....

Too busy making sure he got the right shot for photos to worry about being some 8 minutes slow.

Ahhh, yes, this is a very valid point. Thank you kmark. At least I ran a 3:10, as I said I would. A 3:10 and 48 seconds. A lot of those seconds were spent in a porta potty at mile 10-11ish. Maybe you shouldn't post such lofty goals TT? Wink

And me being the nice, supportive swamp member that I am....I never said you wouldn't go under 5.

I also never said Blaine wouldn't finish his sunshine challenge. I thought he would. More proof that running is stupid and we're idiots. Shit breaks too easy. Blaine loaded to failure....or whatever all those cool people say. Last week was awesome.

Now there's a good burn!  I got nothing on that.

Time for the relaunch.  Stay tuned....

Damn Blaine. Great try. Hope the knee heals quickly.

Yup. I blame it on half marathons. I was fine until I ran one.

Good try Blaine. You did as much as your body let you do. You're smart not to push yourself into a long term injury.

Great job Blaine...sometimes it's hard to make the smart choices, especially since running is stupid

Even though it's hard for me to imagine how what you were doing must have felt (day after day after day, etc.), there's no need to post any pictures with little green X's.

                                Hell of an effort.
