We've Got Big Hills

Real Minnesotans dont say that.   That makes you still a suthnah

Correct.  You ain't no Lutheran Bachelor Farmer just yet.  Get back to work on it, and have yourself some katsup, while you are at it.  Katsup contains natural mellowing agents, after all.

I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.

    Poor baby

      In Tennessee it's all relative.
      The process is the goal.

Men heap together the mistakes of their lives, and create a monster they call Destiny

      We've Got Big Hills

Question: when you get a divorce in TN, are you still brother and sister?

Question: when you get a divorce in TN, are you still brother and sister?

Oh yeah, like you've got it made being from Kentucky.  Kentucky is like Tennessee's little sister....a hot lil sister with big hooters maybe, but still like a little sister.

Time for the relaunch.  Stay tuned....

He doesn't own one, he has one at work.

Scovill aint a pansy ass...he gets out on the roads.

Well, somehow he snuck in 12 on a TM Saturday night while no one was looking and while scouting the Cowboys for the Vikings.

mr train you are a pain, your words - they make me go insane

they strike my ever-thinking brain like little drops of acid rain

Happily, I have no idea, and hope to never know.

                  Log entry for walk:

                  Date: 1/7/2010 12:40 PM
                  Type: Walk
                  Course: Lunch Loop
                  Distance: 2.04 miles
                  Duration: 30:05.19
                  Pace: 14:45 / mile
                  Equipment: New Balance 1062 (T)
                  Weight: 143 lb
                  Misc: Quality: 4/10, Effort: 1/10
                  Weather: 35° F, Sunny
Notes: Took an easy stroll down the road at work to get a few miles in at lunch time. The sun was in my eyes, I forgot my car keys and couldn't grab my sunglasses and was too lazy to go back inside.

Things I like the most about you logging your 'walks' follow:

                  1.  The quality of this 'walk' was 4/10.  What gives?  Seems like you're a little low here.  Maybe if you paid a little more attention to the birds singing, and the hotties out and about, you could increase the quality of your 'walk'.  Just something to keep in mind.

                  2.  My wife does lots of research and exercise interventions within the blind community.  If you continue to leave your sunglasses inside and hurt your lil eyes, you'd make a great subject for one of her studies.  She would be happy to give you a pedometer to track your 'walking' miles.  That way you don't end up needing your GPS for your lunch loop.

                  3.  I notice you walk in your New Balance 1062's.  Would you consider those good 'walking' shoes?  How many miles do you usually get in a pair before you need to get some new walkers?

Keep up the good work, I can't wait to see you move up the YTD mileage board because you are logging your walks and hikes.  I think I'm going to log the sandwich I just ate, the quality was way better than 4/10.  I'd put it at 7/10, and I must have walked at least .25 to the break room and back.

Time for the relaunch.  Stay tuned....

                  Nice Ass!

What? We're logging hikes and walks? When did this happen? If it happened in this thread, tl;dr.

I could have hit 3000 in '09 if I'd known this.

                    A Saucy Wench

That's it.  I am going to start wearing my garmin when I take the kids to the park and the zoo.  The park is worth at least a mile and the zoo, well that's goddamn near a marathon.  Maybe a 5K marathon but a marathon none the less.

Scovill is a real life friend as opposed to a fake life friend like the rest of you (ask Mikey for clarification on the difference).  I am familiar with his lack of ownership of a treadmill, and we may or may not have had a conversation about it just yesterday, face to face side to side. I may or may not have already known about his lack of ownership. I may or may not have visited his house quite a few times to notice a lack of said treadmill. I may or may not be aware that he keeps interesting work hours.

We may or may not have also talked about the sucky Cowboys Eagles game, in which I only casually glanced up at the TV 3-5 times during while also running on a treadmill.

But overall, I think you and I agree. Blaine will not pass Scovill. I believe we already know who the top 3-5 will be by the end of 2010. I don't know why anyone would suggest different.

Also, I would like to count yesterdays run as 42 miles considering I may or may not have a broken cracked rib, a pulled rib muscle, pneumonia, or a collapsed lung. Innie minnie miney moe. Ouchie. Who knew running could make that kinda shit worse.

You can log anything you want, as long as you track it with your GPS.  That's the new rule.

Did you hurt your ribs while doing premature high-fiving/chest-bumping during the Packers game?  Cuz that would sort of suck.

Seriously, it does suck.  Feel better.
