I'll get right on that. Then I'll install it on my wife's PC, all the iPods in the house and all of the PC's at the highschool school and in all of the PC's/Macs/Tablets and other devices in all of my daughter's friends' homes. This might take a while.
You probably shouldn't joke. You do have 4 daughters. The current teenager may be a good one, but odds are...at least one of them won't be. Hopefully it won't be your favorite one.
How do you keep your feet on the ground, when you know you were born to fly?
break'n three
By the way kids my daughter's age and younger have a completely different (mostly in a good way) view of social media than kids, say, 10 (maybe even 5) years older than them. To say nothing of how different that view is from old farts like most of us posting in this thread.
Runners run.
To me, the question isn't why would mikey accept the request but why was the request given in the first place.
Maybe he's a nice kid.
Actually the kid along with a few other of my daughter's friends were in my basement last night
Oh Lord. And no duenna, I bet. There was probably an unlocked liquor cabinet too.

Will horrors never cease?!
I wouldn't recommend key logging software. But I wouldn't recommend you being an (accidental) voyeur of your teen daughter's life either.
The process is the goal.

The horrors indeed.
Cool house, cool dad, we've seen this play out before.
On On
My kids can't be on social media with out me having their passwords so I can log in as them whenever I want. I do occasionally for the three oldest just to see what they are up to at parties. You may or may not be amazed at what kids take pictures of and post.
A few friends of my kids have 'friended' me and I have usually checked with their parents first or denied the friendship. I always assume that they have 2000 friends and my posts are going to get filtered out anyway. And if they post to much about crap I don't want to see I will defriend them or hide their posts.

Really? Not weird to anyone else? Just me? Okay.

Are you a parent?
I'm happy, hope you're happy too...
I am. Yes. And I think there is an age where I would require a password and an age where having a password would not be needed. In reading Rick's response it seemed to imply that the kids were adults.
