That was maybe the best swamp race week thread ever. Almost 2 years ago now, made me want to run a marathon again. So I am.
I reckon Greg C is, and LTrain is pacing at least a half. George may do the half.
Who else is in?
But Och! I backward cast my e'e, On prospects drear! An' forward, tho' I canna see, I guess an' fear!
Not I said McFly.
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.
I'll be volunteering and possibly doing the half
Lowell is beautiful in October. Heh.
I put it under there.
Great marathon but beware of the wobbly bridge.
Not in Chicago
I just reread that 2010 thread, and it was pretty cool. Maybe the best-attended swamp race outside of Nashville.
You suck. You should just quit. Jackass. Welcome back.
I really want to be there, but one of the original coiners of "GoNads" is getting married that day.
I'll most likely there as a volunteer
Just registered for the half - the real half, not the one L Train is running.
Wow, that's 30+ pages of timesuck, with appearances by jscovill, rcuch, tater, bonkin, andahuff, obsessor...good times.
"You gotta GO Lance, you're a gddamn train! Fucking ROLL!!!!"
"i ate some bad raspberries last week. talk about thunder hole. ugh. not pretty."
"Nasty, dirty, disease carrying midgets, like rats only difference no tail and their teeth not as sharp"
"Run like her dad caught you!"

Ha ha, loved seeing you out there, dawg. It was like a vision in those last miles -- I think you were there on the bridge.
Dragon took that pic -- it's a good one.
Almost makes me want to run a marathon again. Almost.
The Logic of Long Distance
