Yes. We can. I will be the first to admit that the Pats got lucky a couple of times today. There were several times when you just looked at the Chargers and had to say, "Damn! They are the best in the AFC!" But still the Pats found a way. These truly are the Golden Years of New England Sports fandom. There are people who are born winners. And Tom Brady is at the top of that list.

You're right Brady is born to win, but that's what I hate about him. Winning just happens to him--today he did NOTHING to win! The Chargers did more for the Pats than he did, and the dumb-@$$ announcers just kept making excuses for Brady. Arrgh. Do I really have to respect Tom Brady? Go Colts!
              Yes
Did I mention that I'll be at the Colts-Patriots game on Sunday? Yes

Now I hate you. Man, some people are just born to win. Wink My only consolation in the Pats victory is that I get to continue to root against them. Big grin
He did nothing to win? Come on now. Did you see the drive at the end of the half? Or the one at the end of the GAME? Neither did the Chargers defense, apparently.

Okay. Two days later objectivity is setting in a bit. He is a winner. Colts vs Pats will be great this weekend. I'll be rooting for the Colts, but I suspect that the Pats will do it again. Here's my picks. Colts over Pats 27-21 Bears over Saints 20-17 Anyone else with an opinion?
I'm totally psyched for this game. Pats vs. Colts. As it should be. It will be LOUD in that godforsaken dome too. Sure I'll make a Quixotic attempted at picking the exact final scores of this weekends Conference Championship games. Pats 27-24. What did you think I'd say? Also, Vinitieri clanks the potential game-tying FG off the crossbar (but this time it bounces out, not in) as time expires. Tony Dungey falls to the Field Turf of the RCA dome in disbelief. Saints 28-24. Reggie Bush scores 4 touchdowns against the suddenly soft Bears defense. Modified to add: Of course if my predictions for both games come true I will have to start rooting against the Saints. Which is too bad but I will get over it.

Pats fan seems to have this fantasy about Adam Vinitieri intentionally shanking the potential game-winning field goal as time expires, then tearing off his Colts uniform to reveal his old Patriots jersey underneath. Vinitieri does a quick "ha ha" dance on the Colts logo before sprinting over to the other sideline to hug Bill Bellichik and to kiss Bob Kraft's ring. Tight lipped Ok, I'll play along.... Colts 23, Pats 16. Yes Saints 31, Bears 17. Surprised

Oh, no I don't think he'll do it intentionally...

Bears put the smack down on NO and as of now the Pats are putting the hurt on the Colts (at the half). In a perfect world the colts will come back and the Superbowl will be Bears v. Colts.... I really don't want to see the Brady and Co. there again. I will keep my fingers crossed
                              COLTS!
