Not in Chicago

Yeah. I was looking at Jan 1. Idiot.

Wtf is the matter with you?

You suck. You should just quit. Jackass. Welcome back.

Wtf is the matter with you?

She runs way too damn much. Especially in those stupid timed races.

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

I guess sleep is over rated, and Jeff's coaching is underrated. Congrats R2E

Wtf is the matter with you?

I drank for the first time since Monkey after a trail race today. I managed to get mind-boggling drunk on two beers. I'm filled with shame to admit that.

i want to look at my watch pretty bad, but jeff said don't, and i trust him, so i don't.

*clap* *clap* Waffs. Jeff tells me lots and I agree to and with it, but I never seem to follow it.

Once I've had a chance to process how things went a bit more, I'm sure I'll blather about it on my log.

                Blather.

It should be mathematical, but it's not.

So far it is looking like YOU are the best, at least this week.

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

                    Misty

I crashed and burned. Was right on pace for my sub-1:50 goal until I started vomiting mile 7. Then twas a death march with dry heaving the next 6 miles. Good times. 1:56:25 12/49 AG 36/305 women But I got a chicken medal, and isn't that all that really matters?

                      Bless your heart.

I got second in my race but the sub 17 attempt was thwarted by b.s. global warming making everything freezing cold on the second day of December.

Stood on the start line shaking and shivering for 20 minutes in the cold rain (great time to have a delay). Got started and just felt numb. Finally started coming around after 3 km or so but by then the race is mostly over. Km splits went something like 3:27, 3:29, 3:32, 3:26, 3:22 for a 17:16. Oh well.

Got ~70 bucks and just downed an entire pepperoni pizza so I'm all good. Until next month.

57:55 for my MCR leg. At the Claddagh rehydrating now with Guiness.

MTA: Alas, I did not hoist a brick. My mens masters team was 4th (first losers). We missed 3rd by almost 5 minutes to the Somervillans so the 45 seconds that I stood in the exchange zone looking for my space cadet teammate did not wind up costing us the brick...good thing.

I'm still upset about that vodka in your freezer for a year. And now THIS? Tears.

I thought I made up for it by never being sober in the four days I was at Monkey. I'm still expecting a thank you card from Yazoo.

Oh, and I was properly whupped by Pauly. He waited for me about two minutes out from the finish. He jogged along and encouraged me, and I wheezed and gasped with muscles burning, just trying to keep up with him. What a prick.
