Currently I have 7 friends registered for my free winter marathon. This year the weather will be too nice; 30's at the start, low winds, no snow. Hopefully this run will help to shed the holiday pounds.

I'm going to do the GAC Fat Ass 50k at Bradley Palmer State Park down in Mass.
It's a 10k loop, run 1 to 5 loops. I'm planning to run the full 50k, but after last weekend's New Year's Day Boston Marathon and next weekend's Houston Marathon I'm not going to be too concerned if I feel like dropping after 3 or 4 loops (although if I do 4 loops I'll probably do enough of an out & back to get a marathon in. 'Cuz, why not?)
Pretty low key either way.
