        NTC Florida 5k

        Lake Louisa State Park, Clermont, FL

        Goal: PR (<21:12)

         

        I signed up for this race because my sister-in-law was going to run her first 5k here. But then she got appendicitis last week, so she's not running. I'm still in, though.

         

        Joe, I'm glad to see you're excited about Christmas.

        It should be mathematical, but it's not.

              Nobody can run 50 miles.

              It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

                I think Trent and I have run similar mileage recently. But I'm too cowardly to attempt a 5k in my current state. Trent, in sharp contrast, has no fear.
