Surf City sounds fun!
As for myself, here's my goal for the week:
Name: Run to Win
Race: Mid-Winter Classic
Distance: 10 Miles
Location: Cape Elizabeth, ME
Goal: 797 runners (or however many show up) safely finishing with no major injuries or mishaps
Won't have time to run the race myself as I'll be a bit busy putting the race on, but I want everything to go smoothly this year after we had to cancel and reschedule 3 times last year due to snow storms (although we only canceled, didn't reschedule, the 3rd time.)
It's made registration this year a nightmare (amazing how many people will threaten to sue you for $15) and only about 25% of the field is actually paying so we've had to get creative with the finances in order to still put on a quality race.
Run to Win23 Marathons, 10 Ultras, 16 States (Full List)
A 10 mile race sounds fun. I wish there were more of those.
I've signed up for the Super Bowl Sunday 10k at Sacramento State. Plans are to run sub-37 and not run my legs into the ground. Just cruise at sub-6 pace for five miles and go from there.
Oh yeah, I'm running this weekend too.
Jackson Jackass 50k, Jackson TN. Saturday, 2/4. Finish in time to get in my car, drive to Nashville and run the 4 mile beer run from one craft brewery to another, and back.
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.

I'm not planning to sue R2W, but at around mile 9.5 I'll probably feel like it.
I put it under there.
2013 Goals: Run trails.

No Talent Drips

1:02?? Dunno what kind of shape I'm in.
It will be a minor miracle if I make it to the start line...need to find some 6+hrs of childcare on a Sunday starting really early.
Any of you inter-people looking to make a few bucks by babysitting in Downeast Maine?
You should go get the clap just so you can give it to her. --beef

6:20ish for 10? Not bad for a no talent drip.
Thanks, big boy.
Did you do wind burn this eeekend?
No, had to choose between windburn or 50K this weekend. Although with the forecast of 60 today, I'm getting worried about how muddy the trails are going to be...
The Logic of Long Distance
Dopplebock / Crusty 50k trail run / Ice Age Trail - WI / Not to freeze my ass-ets / to finish
Struggling with an lower calf / upper achillies injury - This will not be pretty. 5 x 10k loops - It looks to be slushy
