I saw Dick Beardsley speak at a race expo many years ago. He is very funny. He spoke about being injured and unable to run, and living in Minnesota on the farm. Every day he had to shovel, so he would have fartlek, tempo, easy, and long shoveling days planned. It was cute.

Just to prove my utter and complete dumbassery, I actually went in to work today. I almost didn't make it in at all, but I got there because my otherwise POS jetta is actually a good little tank in the snow. I arrived to find that out of the 75-100 people that would normally be there, I was 1 of only 2 actually dumb enough to come in. Good times.
