Yowza!
You know, I just recently found out that Scott and I grew up in the same town and, 20 years apart, worked in the same little running store. So why can't I run faster? NOT FAIR.
42,500 Miles Later
Oh yea, that would make sense. So he ran 2:18 high? That's not an OTQ. It's 2:18:00. Of course, he has plenty of time to make it one before 2016! Just need better conditions.

Yeah OTQ is freakin tough. Speaking of, Ben's training lately has been SICK.

Srsly. Not fair.
But whenever I have that thought I balance it with the thought that, oh yeah I haven't spent the last three years grinding 100-120 mile weeks w/three workouts.
Who said anything about actually having to do the work? I run 40-50 miles a week and take 5-hour energy shots sometimes and own a negative ion bracelet. I want my OTQ!
Carlson works in one of our local running stores....and I see him out running all the time! Why am I not faster?
How do you keep your feet on the ground, when you know you were born to fly?
break'n three
Yea, he's not running a spring marathon. Lukes idea. He's running the 1/2 at Eugene and the half champs again. Marathon in the fall.

Can you run 2:18 with negative splits?
Someone should start a thread about it.
It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.
Also, nice PR!
His log shows a 3x5K at MP just eight days ago - that's interesting.
