Semi-retired.
Hometown AG win.
dnephin Outer Banks Mararathon, 11.14.
Goal 1, if I can shake this cold: <3. Three consecutive sub 3s would thrill me to no end. I haven't been really doing marathon training lately though, so, we'll see.
Goal 2, if I can't shake the cold: Have fun, push what I can.
AMcNeice Governor's Cup Half (Columbia, SC) - 11.13
Goal: 1:23:00
It's aggressive and at the top end of my range (I think). 6 flats on a 12k have me thinking it's definitely doable, it's just been a long long time since I've run a half.
TonyP, Beach to Battleship Half Ironman Triathlon (70.3), Wilmington, NC,
Goal: 5:20 (1.2 mile swim - :34, T1 - 5:00, 56 mile bike - 2:48, T2 - 3:00, 13.1 mile run - 1:50)
This will be my first Half Ironman and the swim is the biggest unknown for me.
Saturday, NCAA Mountain Regional, Salt Lake City, Utah
Distance: 10K
Goal: Top 60-70 would be a really good race for me. So that's what I'm going for. A PR would be good too.

Ontario Masters XC finals 5k Guelph ON - goal sub 20
They let me enter despite the fact I didn't run any qualifying events. They're nice like that ($$$)
I will get beat bad. probably finish somewhere near last in AG even if I go under 20:00
Still, these are fun events and i will not pass this one up
Doughboy
jpdeaux Ultra RI 6 Hour Warwick, RI 40 miles
I know I did not post this before my race, but happy with my result this morning and wanted to share. Out and back course, fairly flat on a perfect race morning.
Race Spencer Mountain 5K, Lowell, NC, Goal 23:59, Result 22:50, PR by 1:28

Nice! That should help you take it easy next weekend.
Yes, I do "run in this." So should you. The weather is never as bad as it seems from behind your office or car window.
1:22:01 - 7th OA, 2nd AG.
Ran well, went out fast and hard and tried to hang on. Only miles on the flip side of 6:20 where the three with monster hills that I had purposely banked time for on the flat parts.
It was a good day of racing and I'm not ever racing a 1/2 again with only 1 run over 13 in my training. The 2-3 weekly 10's have made me way stronger but I definitely need to hit some more in there. That and my milage sucked all summer.
Fiancée's already started planning our NYC vacation next fall.
i didn't post this either - had a bunch of exams yesterday - but i ran a Turkey Trot 5k today, (25:35) off of extremely low mileage and sleep, so I was happy with that.
Hawt and sexy
Crap, that was today? I thought it was next weekend.
I'm touching your pants.
oops! Yeah it was today. sorry, I totally meant to text you to see if you were gonna come, but yesterday was a rough day, and it slipped my mind. Oh well, next time!
