Congrats Women and Men!
Does anyone know of an article with a narrative of how the USA men's team lost their 8km lead in the final hour?
no, but I can say Lewis ran @ 8km, Fejes @ 9km and Morton @ 11.5km. So I am guessing Germany had all 3 run at least 11-11.5km in the last hour

I put the 24hr results into my table above, with the last hour deltas, and yeah, if I have the numbers right, all three French & German runners, and two of the Japanese runners, did at least 10km in the last hour.
Women won gold, men won bronze. Connie took overall silver and set woman's record. Mike Morton took overall gold and set men's US record.
To go with her silver medal and American record, she was 20th overall. What an awesome performance.
