Ended up 19:10. Thought I might have a shot for sub 19 early on, but struggled a bit with the hills. Oh well, good workout for the monkey. Great to have an early end to the work week. That whole working stuff gets super old.
I know, right?
Congrats Ben, AP, Illene, Daddyo and Jay-Lee-C!

For the record, I've never run a 6K race slower than 19 minutes.
It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.
Because you've never run a 6k race?
How do you keep your feet on the ground, when you know you were born to fly?

With a group failure rate of over 70%, it's another great week of racing.
Congrats on your PR, Ilene. I take it you've run this distance a couple times before huh?
Don't be like those biased media channels, with the misleading "facts checking" and stuff.

Much as I am tempted (once again) to give myself an award.....after long and thoughtful study..... and a special shout out to our wouldbe NYC marathoners Joe. and stadjak and with an honorable mention to the awesome (!!) Schneidr and the newbie J-Lee-C or whatever (go fast!), this weeks imaginary fucking cartoon is awarded to that mild mannered superhero AmoresPerros!!! Great racing AP!
Congrats, AP, well deserved!
And great job on the PR, Ilene.
"Way to make Borat look overdressed"

I'd pick Ilene over me easily this week, but thank you.
