Mine seems a similar fit to last year.  TCDMCWH hasn't worn his yet, but will see if his is different to the blood red one.

No running pics of the SNGLT yet, but it was used for fancy dress today...TCDMCWH wore his fencing stuff rather than a SNGLT tucked in to shiny and high-waisted shorts for little boys who think learning to box is a good idea.

Yay epee - my daughter's weapon.  Nothing against the boxing gloves & snglt.

Thanks! Mine is different, though -- no red white & blue. I'm pretty sure it's exactly the same buckle, but with no acrylic applied. I wonder why? I was a bit taken aback when Joe handed it to me; I'd been visualizing the buckle the whole last lap. the color is one of the things that makes it distinct. But of course I just said "thank you!".

Yeah, maybe. But then it wouldn't be the official buckle anymore. I'd just like to know what happened. Out if time? Cost savings? Or intentional design change?

Does yours say sub-24 hour finisher on it?  If not, I think he handed you the wrong buckle... I was not aware of a change (of course, they don't consult me on these things....)

Yeah. It's exactly the same, even with the raised rims on Texas that look like they're supposed to be filled in. But they're not. The > 24 buckle has Texas in regular relief, the inverse of this.

                  Still a really cool buckle!

OK, so I don't read the racing threads all that often any more...
