More Cowbell!
The last two in the BCS title games... it's obvious we were overmatched. Against Florida, we had a very good team in most aspects (not a great running game, but everything else was pretty good, I thought), and we still got destroyed. I honestly didn't expect to win that game, but I guarantee you almost every Buckeye player thought it would be a cakewalk. They prepared accordingly, and got waxed. Last year both OSU and LSU lucked into the title game. I would have happily played anybody else but them. Anybody. We didn't match up well with them, and while it wasn't the drubbing of the previous game, it still sucked to watch.
When you're on your deathbed, you won't be wishing that you'd spent more time at the office. But you will be wishing that you'd spent more time running. Because if you had, you wouldn't be on your deathbed.
Idiot
True, but we somehow beat Florida a year later. I don't think it's overmatched. I think that against FL, OSU had gotten fat and lazy (remember how pudgy Troy Smith looked), and I think that against LSU, the previous year was in their head too much. I think in both cases, it was a combination of psychology and conservative coaching, not a physical mismatch.
Yes, I do "run in this." So should you. The weather is never as bad as it seems from behind your office or car window.
I need to bring some cheese to go with all this Big 10 whine. I can see the headline now - Minnesota wins Big 10 title and BCS berth.

We've had two pretty good runs recently. Regardless, they can't party forever.
Runners run.

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.
Oh good, AP is on another one of his swamp anthropology projects.
So forget what I said about us being beyond implosion anymore.
He's on a real tear this time. Isn't he?
