This just in: Matt Cassel is not as good as Tom Brady. Not that it would have mattered last night. Our secondary blows.

    Runners run.

A good D can hide lots of weaknesses in the O and vis versa. NE is a completely different team without Brady. Now for all you Titan fans. Take note of Indy. The rust has come off the offense and the points will flow. The D is still a bit shaky but its easier to play D when you know 30+ will be on your side of the scoreboard each week. Yes the Ravens D was somewhat over-rated but they can still play. This division will be a knock down, drag out, dog fight so hang on to your seats as its going to get interesting for the rest of the season.

Yeah, I'm not looking forward to facing SD this Sunday. Our secondary was a bit banged up, but hopefully the bye gave them some rest. I just hope they can contain LT.
A lot of pressure in the middle of those shoulders / And we ain't gettin nothing but older / Ain't nothing change but the day we run from / But nobody knows that better than you,huh
Hey... Romo hurt his wittle pinky! The "official speculation" is that it happened during 3-and-out OT possession.

            Jesus the Pats looked bad.

The fact that you are reminding us to pay attention to you shows just how much can change in a year. Let me remind you: most folks saw Indy crushing the Ravens because their defensive weakness--the secondary--matches up with Indy's strength. Tennessee's defensive weakness is... ?

Haynesworth's ankles? Seriously though, looking forward to a lot of head shaking and whining by Peyton in that game.

Long gone are the days when a player would opt to have the tip cut off so that he could go back in and finish out the game, a la Ronnie Lott.

Never said/implied they were weak on defense. Actually think they are about as good as it gets in the NFL for D. Titans weekness is on the Offensive side of the ball. Collins is pedestrian and won't loose many games for you but he can't close the deal if you have to hang it on his shoulders (see stints at NY, Oakland, etc.). Decent running game but your longest pass to date is to the TE. My take is more for Indy-TN game being a good ball game to watch with several good sub-plots. And yes lots of things can change in a year as well as in two weeks. Wink

Wow. Just wow. NYG getting beat badly in the first half.
