2nd American at Houston, 9th OA...
The Logic of Long Distance
Sweet!
Runners run.
What am I missing here...? Flotrack is showing this:
Men's Marathon
He got left out of results and tracking for some reason -- likely chip malfunction... my info comes directly from him...
What a Mickey Mouse operation. How do they miss the 9th place guy??
Come on, Houston!
In it for the long run..
I know- I couldn't find him in the tracking, either, but he tweeted. Awesome job. Wind and hail.
"It's not who wins the workout..." This Century PRs 5K 25:05 10K 52:34 1/2 M 1:53:58 Marathon 4:08:28
What a Mickey Mouse operation. How do they miss the 9th place guy?? Come on, Houston!
That's an OT qualifying time! Does this mean he doesn't get his OT berth?!
They will straighten it out, I'm sure. A friend saw him cross the finish line on the "finishcam" or whatever.
yikes!
Oldman mid pack runner
No it's not, the window is not open and the standard has not been announced for 2016.
NO CHIP NO TIME!!!
And: fuck yeah Scott!
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.
Poor baby
The standard HAS been announced. But yea, the window is not open.
How do you keep your feet on the ground, when you know you were born to fly?
break'n three
He'll have to provide proof from throughout the course though. The finish cam is apparently not enough. This happened to Scovill once and he never got a time
Since he was running in the lead pack, I'd imagine that Carlson and Reyes would vouch for him... Can't imagine they wouldn't give him a time. If they don't, I'm taking it to Lets Run!
Oh yea, that would make sense.
So he ran 2:18 high? That's not an OTQ. It's 2:18:00. Of course, he has plenty of time to make it one before 2016! Just need better conditions.
