You're REALLY trying to keep the RWOL refugees away, aren't you?

    Upcoming races: 5/18 Watershed Preserve 12-hour, 6/2 North Olympic Discovery Marathon, 6/15 Bighorn 50, 7/27 White River 50, 8/24 Cascade Crest <gulp>

    My woefully neglected blog.

In a week and a half I will be racing a 100k on my bday. I suspect by the time I get to my birthday beer I will feel like I'm 62.

Some days I feel like that too.

      3000 miles

      Sub 19:00 for 5K  05-03-13 Clee Prom 5K - 19:00:66 that was bloody close!

      Sub-40:00 for 10K 17-03-13 Gainsborough 10K - 39:43

      Sub 88:00 for HM

It should be noted that it was snowing and terribly effing cold around these parts yesterday.  If the 39mi wasn't impressive, the fact you still have functional fingers after 5 hours of running in the single digits (no pun intended) certainly is.

Meh, it wasn't that cold. It was like 14f.

How do you keep your feet on the ground, when you know you were born to fly?

Hater.  It was still cold enough to make my "boys" feel uncomfortably numb.  Embarrassed

I recently read someone in Alaska saying it was warming up into positive degrees right now.

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

            Long Drawfs Fast

Great idea! I will do it.

Oh, wait a minute. There are not enough hours in the day.  I'm slow.

Run until the trail runs out.

Have you still not learned to wear windboxers under the tights?

I am really glad I don't have boys.

I have, it was just a funny thing to say.  Probably the best lesson I've ever learned from Scovill.  Painful way to learn that lesson though.  I still remember running back on Shepard Rd with my hand down my pants.  Embarrassed

You're kidding right? Scovill doesn't wear running gear. He layers whatever he has in his closet. He's too cool for running gear. The guy doesn't own tights. It was probably Ben who told you about the wind boxers that day.

True.  I think Scovill advised me to be worried about my boyz and turn around before too much damage is done.  Ben probably advised me on getting some good wind-manties, which I promptly did after resuscitating my stick and berries.  Fuck, it was cold that day!!
