Prince of Fatness
There is a long dark road ahead of me.
Schefter just tweeted that Brackett signed a 5 year deal with the Colts.
When nobody called right as free agency started he realized he was getting more coin with the Colts than anywhere else.
A bit of a change from what we're used to in recent years. At this rate we won't retain the coveted Offseason of the Year Award.
Bout effing time. He earned it.
So now we have Thunder, Lighting and Making it Rain.
BFD. We got Hank Baskett back. And Kendra....
It's too bad that she is annoying as hell.
mr train you are a pain, your words - they make me go insane
they strike my ever-thinking brain like little drops of acid rain
oh, to my life you are a bane; crazy, mixed up, mr train - r2e
Good luck with that Kendra thing. I guess we wont see her with the reality show film crew at the local skating rink anymore. Funniest damn thing to see so many hockey dads just sit and stare like they were hypnotized or should I say booobytized. Classic.
I say the Jets get similar numbers from LT as they got from Jones in the red zone with a great 3rd down threat. More upside on the field and a hell of a lot of new ticket sales.
Its stories like this that just makes it impossible to have a total hatred for Darth Vader in a hoodie. He does seem to draft/find good people and players. Jeebus I think I can hear the Colts fan club coming to collect my membership card.
So it looks like this is the year to jettison bad contracts. No cap penalty. Eagles either traded or released..
Westbrook
Andrews
Reggie Brown
Howard
Curtis
All of these guys were due some big money this year and either underperformed or had injury problems. Some, like Westbrook, aren't getting sniffs from other teams (sad because he was one of my favorites). Not a good offseason to be old and overpaid.
Totally different offseason than in years past.
New chapter forthcoming
Time for the relaunch. Stay tuned....
McNabb was just traded to the Skins. Hmmmm.
So we now have three aging RBs in Portis, Parker and Holmes in the backfield, and three QBs who've been starters recently.
Campbell presumably is going to be cut. Hopefully McNabb can stay healthy behind our porous O-Line. His age is not too great a concern (same as Elway when he came to Denver ), and if he can perform for a couple of years or more I guess a second rounder is a good deal.
MTA: not as crazy as first thought
