Shooting for a PR, see if I can extend my beginner's PR streak a little longer. My legs aren't feeling great though, having been trying to up my mileage lately.

I know, I know. My legs are still sore as fuck and the thought of anything faster than 6:10 pace doesn't sound feasible unless I can get the tightness in my left leg to subside before Saturday. I think if this race was on 2/23 I'd be fine and would definitely shoot for 76 minutes but a week removed from 45-miles (done with no taper and no days off) just seems daunting.
That said...I'll give it a try. At the very least I have the motivation of getting to the beer faster.

Sucker! I accept your challenge. I have to post the same goal in 3 weeks and I do not think I am in anywhere near as good of shape as you are. Unless we still count round as a shape then I may be perfect.

5K trail race on the 16th. I never really know how to treat these on the race thread. Last year I won with 20:50. Three years ago I got a distant third with 18:57. I'll say goal=win.
It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.
