        +1 to that!

I am in awe of what was accomplished this week among the swamp.

Congrats to all you Eight balls!

Pauly - So glad you and the other rider survived the SUV incident.

I passed this guy a coule times on the run Sunday. Shook his hand each time. Makes my miserable day seem like childs play. Looked like he was roasting the whole time.

That certainly delivered, in terms of entertainment. What a day.

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

Nice. My race isn't until Aug 19 and I'm already starting to tweak. Thanks.

I have advice albeit bad. Try to outpace your pain and suffering. You'll do far better than my feable attempt.

Wow Paulygram, just wow!  Congrats on your triathlon PR.   Big grin

Proofread carefully to see if you any words out.

Arrrgh.  Tough decision that I had to keep going back and forth on, but I am going to give it to Troy for his 5k PR (by 26 seconds) and getting under the 20:00 mark for the first time.  Drew also did an amazing job with his 5:35 mile.  An Honerable Mention definitely goes his way.  I wish I could hand out two IFCEight ball this week.

A honorable mention also goes out to bhearn.  I don't know what the hell he is on, but it's working.  Also, as much as I hate handing out awards in the Jack Of All Trades, Master Of None/Triathlete category, Bash has a HM coming.  Way to be tough out there.

Valid decision 9 secs/mile is a signigicant PR, great job by all the racers this week.

Pauly, I debated giving you a HM for doing the splits, but with no pics to prove it, I just couldn't.  You did a fantastic job sticking with it when things got bad, though.  it would have been much easier to call it a day.

Shouldn't there be some sort of special gymnastics award here?

Hey sorry I'm so late checking in. Ran 27:01, so pretty far off my goal. I was 33rd overall. Winner was 22:15ish! Yikes! It was a fun race, and even though I am not in the habit of thinking about age group, I was happy to "win" my age group -- even though there was a 38 year old Kenyan who finished about 4 minutes in front of me. I guess he was taken out  because he won prize money.

This is a fun race for anyone who is in the area. Another cool thing was that I was treated as an "elite" runner, given hotel and free entry. They must have had some no shows, so they passed the room along to me. I am going to try to get a race report up today.

I bought the finishers shirt at the expo. Granted, it never crossed my mind during the bike fiasco, but I did keep me in the run for the second lap.
