Not as bad as I thought it would be.
So there's a million dollar prize for a world record? Does any other marathon offer anything similar?
The race was at 7am local time so it was probably pretty close to the low of 59°F. Pretty much ideal.
I think Dubia has by far the biggest WR bonus out there which is why they always get a ridiculous elite field.
But do they have good free beer after the race - Pretty much my only criteria

Your thread title made me think of another place with fast times...
When you're on your deathbed, you won't be wishing that you'd spent more time at the office. But you will be wishing that you'd spent more time running. Because if you had, you wouldn't be on your deathbed.
That school where they wear Swamp hats?
It's Friday!
There was a point in my life when I ran. Now, I just run.
Back beat, the word was on the street That the fire in your heart is out I'm sure you've heard it all before But you never really had a doubt
The Diary of a Once-ran.
Berhanu Shiferaw finished runner-up in 2:04:48;
This is the new Junior World Record- Shiferaw is 19 years old.
According to LR.com, Desisa closed the last 200m in 25-and-change seconds.
Can't quite wrap my brain around either of the above.
I like running alone.
