Wow, that was fast -- within minutes after logging my run, the original post was updated. Very efficient, thanks!
This was my earliest 2000 by over a month (previous was 11/29). I owe that to luck -- not getting injured so far this year.

Fast is better than long
If my intuition is correct, A1 probably just completed a second lap.

ON THE 7th DAY, GOD DID AN EASY 6 "Running is a big question mark that’s there each and every day. It asks you, ‘Are you going to be a wimp or are you going to be strong today?'" - Peter Maher
congrats those who got it done before December ~ Those people that are just ahead of the bunny or behind (Trent et al) Come on Man! The Holidays are going to make you fat unless you get out and run.
Log is now public and available for mockery. I officially completed 2000 miles as of last Sunday. I am from RWOL, though . Was just looking for a place to lurk that had higher mileage runners, didn't mean to invade your swamp.
I use to do a little but a little wouldn't do it, so the little got more and more. I just keep trying to get a little better, said a little better than before.
Although I am told there are not rules in the swamp - My personal rule is I do not apologize ... unless it is completely filled with sarcastic undertones.

If I say that I missed the "double dip before december" thing because I got sick, will I get some pity?
No?
What if I got REALLY sick?
And once again Mr. Wizard (aka: Stevie Ray) explains the internet.
As DB suggests, we cannot/willnot apologize, but welcome and 2000 miles can never be mocked
Agreed, Pick It Up!!!
Btw, DB, only ~250 in Dec gets you the mythical 3rd Lap. Pick It Up!!!
I am going to be so close. Next year!
Good times never seemed so good.
