I don't know about that, although I did find a photo of the lucky girl who got the last spot on the traveling squad:
It says she's 125 lb.
She's 5'3 apparently. That's not really fat.
And I'm not just saying that because I have 35 lb on her.
If you look at 0:49 in that video though, she has a rounder face so face only looks bigger than if you see her body.
Of course, she wasn't excluded for her weight but for retiring, so it does seem moot.
