My wild assed guess is WPI.
Ha ha, good guess. I never heard of WPI, I guess it is a cousin of RPI.

Wha? Never heard of WPI?
E to the X... D-Y, D-XE to the X... D-XCosine, Secant, Tangent, Sine... 3.14159E-I, Radical, Pi... Fight ’em, Fight ’em, WPI!
(this was an extra credit question on nearly all of my HS physics exams...thanks Mr. Shapiro)
You should go get the clap just so you can give it to her. --beef
In Jeff's defense, WPI has only been around for like 150 years.
Runners run.
I see it is an engineering school. Is it where they invented Worcester sauce?
I read his name as "WP Is fastest 5ker".

Yeah, me too.
Is it where they invented Worcester sauce?
That would have happened in Worcester, England in 1837.
MTA: To jog your memory, that was the year that you welcomed Martin van Buren (who?) as your 8th President.
Well well well, new guy with the awkward name moves up in standings on his team, xhristopher has a good race in eerie conditions, Rozzie blasts out a huge new PR at a hot marathon and qualifies for Boston finally , but my boy flatfooter wins the Frozen Gnome 50k! in the snow! Ergo the coveted imaginary fucking cartoon award!! Congratulations!
Sweet! Thanks Ilene!

Never heard of WPI either, but I am curious now about the origin of this cheer. Ours went
E to the X, D-Y, D-X.
E to the X, D-X.
Secant, tangent, cosine, sine... 3.14159
Cube root, square root, BTU, compass, slide rule... GO RICE U!
and Google turns up lots of other variants, including one from MIT. I'd suspect that would be the original, but I don't know.
(alternative ending also used at Rice: Name the axes, y and x, hell with football, we want sex!)

What college were you in? I actually went to Rice for a year, Jones College...
Most people outside NE have never heard of RPI either...
Whachu talkin' bout Wing?
Nebraska?...No...New England?...no...Nuclear Engineering? Really, you're gonna go ahead and acronyminize that? Weird. And still not true - all hockey fans know what RPI is, no matter where they are.
Oh, and congrats on the 8 flatfooter - nice run!
But Och! I backward cast my e'e, On prospects drear! An' forward, tho' I canna see, I guess an' fear!
RPI is in Troy, NY.

It was rough today with 62 degrees and 96% humidity (fog). I didn't know you could see your breath with temps this high. Starting at 5:35 sucked too but racing in the dark, dark fog was very surreal and I enjoyed that rare experience. Clearly I'm some sort of old school runner because I could have done without all the excitement, especially the Magic Kingdom. It broke my rhythm. Just give me a few people to run with down a quiet country road and I'm all set. All I want to hear are foot falls and others working hard around me. That said, I'd do this again but am even less interested in trying that overpriced rock and roll stuff. After about mile 7 the humidity started to catch up with me and it was a matter of finding that fine line. I had to back off about 5 seconds a mile instead of picking it up the 2-3 I had hoped. Still, I was passing runners all the way to the finish. I know I laid it all out when I tried to sprint at the end and did some bizarre funky chicken dance instead. I hear there is video of this. I had hoped for top 100 and ended up 53rd out of 23 thousand something and finished ninth in my age group. Final time was 1:23:53. I didn't hit my goal but did pretty ok regardless. My "PR" half in 2010 only registered 13.0 on my Garmin. Today I went through 13.0 on my Garmin about 15 seconds faster and it read 13.24 at the finish. I probably could have run the tangents a little better, I guess. I think it's possible I ran this race faster than my PR ... Damn you non certified courses!!! I'll keep at it. Eventually I'll have good conditions and get a half PR on a certified course. I was first at something today… It turns out they started serving beer at 7 am and I finished at 6:57 then walked right over and bought one.

Mine registered 13.32 for what it's worth. Congrats on the run, 53rd out of 23126 is saying something on a hot humid day.
We're a fucking stupid-ass, imaginary, Internet team. - DrewEOB
Yep, I go to WPI. There are a few of us around. I mostly lurk, honestly.
And it is... well, something, to sing our fight song before a cross country meet. Confuses people at least.
Boo MIT and RPI. We're the Engineers! (It makes meets where we're all there really confusing because we all use 'go tech'...)
