Some manufacturers: Addidas & Brooks, that I know of, do not apply your discounts to the online order. It's the old don't show our prices as cheap because we're hauty tauty.
While the discount does not show up online, if you call them they can usually apply the discount over the phone to the order.

Maybe it depends on which discount you use, but I've gotten my discount on all my brooks shoes except the Pure stuff. It IS weird, though, because every now and then, it won't pop the discount onto something it should have. So sure enough, a call, straightens that out.
I guess whoever entered the item into their tracking system forgot to check the magic box.
Saucony stuff has never caused me an issue, but I haven't bought a ton.
