Speaking of which, I was wondering if you were back to running so I clicked on your running log to see and when your summary page opened I got dizzy so I had to close it.
Are you doing any running?
Runners run.
Short answer, no.
Long answer, I was starting to get back to some semblance of running until I had a Feb vacation week skiing mishap. Tore my calf and was unable to walk, much less run. It's starting to get better but I bet I'm a month away from running, at least. Injuries and remaining OCD are why my log looks the way it does, as I'm now relegated to logging things like walking to the mailbox, shoveling and any particularly jarring car rides.
However, not running seems to be helping whatever has been going on in my abdomen/groin since early 2011. I am coughing and sneezing with much less pain, so I'll be curious to see what running will feel like. If that really improves, I still have hope that I can make something of myself for this fall or the following spring.
MTA: See, with my new log I can see that I have swum a few more than 1000 laps so far in 2013. This is how interesting my life has become.

Just don't try sneezing on a treadmill.

You're really an impressive athlete, if unspeakably weird at times. But you just keep moving no matter what. Great stuff. Looking forward to seeing your Fall results.
unspeakably weird
Also, because he is broken, he is ditching me in N.J. in a few weeks. I am more than a little sad.

I'm glad to see we now have a 2000 mile club group. It's about time.
I feel jealous and hateful toward Long Run Nick and his gross accumulation of miles.

I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.

jeff has got LRN in a box in his basement, so's he can keep LRN to himself, yet he hates LRN at the same time -- or, doesn't HATE per se, but behaves in a hateful manner. jealous and hateful. 50 shades of mileage whores (and whatnot).

Why do you always correct this? Jealous is an adjective and functions as any other adjective. Meaning: resentful towards the success of others. You're wrong on this one, buddy. WRONG, I say!
etymology is a lost art.
