Based upon my beer prep for Monkey <7-Fri + 12-Sat>, the whole thing was just a prelude to the Beer Mile
I practiced Beer more than Miles at Monkey; thanks Trent, Dallas, Joldfather, Lopez, WG, DBs, MassHoles, Micro Bros-n-Hoes.
Damn! Straight Go You!
Great Job Lag!!
2013 Goals: 2500 miles / 2:45 marathon? / sub 2 800m / 4:30 mile / sub 16 5K / sub hour 10 miles

What in the Jehu?
Are you kiddin me?!? Thanks Ilene!
Tough day, started with very little sleep last night, followed by 7 miles in the ice cold rain and by a crap day at work.
Yet somehow this has totally turned today into an awesome day! (okay, the 3 liters of Guinness at the pub next door helped too). Thanks Ilene, now you can add me to the list of people who cant wait to meet you!
I'll pass the mic to Kevin b/c his sub-90 half thread inspired me to set a bigger goal for myself this year. (started the year with 1000mi and sub 20 5k as my goals)
I'm now thinking that if I keep exceeding my goals, they havent been high enough. I want a goal for next year that will be tough to achieve....
Maybe I'll shoot for a sub-3 marathon next year, anyone else up for a shot? (looks around the swamp and makes eye contact with Kevin, Nader, Stadjak, Chris, Candice, George, probably some others, and then looks quickly back at the floor). I might do the NJ marathon first weekend in may...20+ weeks away and crazy flat....would give me another shot in the fall if i miss.
Nice work lagwagon and Ilene!
Runners run.
Milktruck say relentless
This makes running this thread fun!
Proofread carefully to see if you any words out.

I see what you're doin there, Lag. One of those I'm buzzed, you're buzzed, Guinness-fueled, 8 ball glowin', let's go slay some dragons, biatches, speeches to rope me into trying that idiotic marathon distance again. Good try. But I've got some unfinished bidness getting my 5k down where it should be first.
Nice running though this year dude. Keep rolling.
But Och! I backward cast my e'e, On prospects drear! An' forward, tho' I canna see, I guess an' fear!

Congrats, lagawagon! I have some friends in Scotch Plains/Westfield area. Would be fun to meet up for races.
Beer muscles are gone. (long run this morning was a little harder than it should have been. damn this icy rain.) But the 8-ball rolls on...still, did I really mean what I said last night after all those beers? the thing about the 3 hrs? After I swore I would never do another? Or am I just like all the rest?
Nader, sure, let me know if you have any in mind. I work near Morristown so north jersey works also. My next race or two will probably be in one of Rick's NJ trail races. Def. doing the Watchung marathon in Jan (at a leisurely pace), and probably one of the Lewis Morris runs (tbd).
