We've Got Big Hills
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.
Poor baby
Dave
That bad boy is gonna take until November to be ready.
One cannot rush perfection. You can rush it, of course, but then it won't be perfect.
I just racked last night. Current SG is at 1.5% predicted alcohol, which is probably the final SG. Since it started at 8%, that means this stuff is about 6.5% alcohol. I also poured a bit into a glass to taste, still young and raw and yeasty and flat. This: oh. my. It is rich but not overpowering. There are several layers of flavors, including a light toastiness and the molasses comes through a bit. The sweetness and creaminess are balanced by a sharp but brief hoppiness with a bit of an herbal undertone. The stuff is inky black. The chocolate and molasses linger long after I swallow. As does the caramel.
About to rack Siphoning into the carboy Airlock on, ready to age Final SG In the hand, ready to taste.
New chapter forthcoming
Tell me nobody came in the the bathroom and dropped a deuce while you were siphoning that off? Please?
What do you think gives it that "slightly nutty" flavor?
Time for the relaunch. Stay tuned....
Nice Ass!
Not to mention the lingering chocolate.

That equipment looks way too familiar.
Checking out Trent's 'equipment'? It's about time for me to ditch this swamp again...
But please don't leave the GSP. You're on a roll out there. Too funny.
Leakage. This is what working late does for me.
