    Faster this year, I bet.

It's gonna suck this year.  I'm glad I'm not going. I'll be sitting in my warm house, watching football and drinking beer.

      I was born in 1984.

       That makes me feel old.

Good times never seemed so good.

Pauly you haven't been doing a good job of updating the second lap people. You're fired.

How do you keep your feet on the ground, when you know you were born to fly?

          Stop creeping logs.

It may be nothing, but I see > 20 people with or very much in range of 3K for the year.

In terms of the fancy list on page one of this thread, what's the protocol for someone who jumped into the swamp at the end of the year?  Do I just wave until next year?

And once again Mr. Wizard (aka: Stevie Ray) explains the internet.

Because you gave me your bacon at breakfast, Just tell me when you think you hit 2K and I'll log that. More importantly, with a good month you're gonna hit 2 laps. *clap* *clap*

Do any of you adminny people know the algorithm for how long a >2000 mile log stays on the list.

Also, do people that join well after hitting 2000 have any chance of showing on teh list for a short period of time?

I hit it on 6/12.  I should have hit it twice in November, but I suck.  I'm guessing 12/12 just for fun.

PM Eric, but I think it has to do with distance past 2000, not how long ago you crossed. So if you hit 2000 (or 2006 miles or something) and just stopped, you'd stay on the list. But I could be way, way off--since my understanding of how this place actually works seems to be off a lot lately.

                      Runners run.

Yeah. I went way over running Javelina Jundred last year, and I never showed up >2000 on the log at all.

I'm new to the Swamp. I will fall just short of 2000 miles in 2012 due to a minor calf aggravation a few months ago. For now, I'm just lurking to get a feel for this place before mileage resets to zero in January 2013. I'm looking forward to the motivation!
