Any Boston-area swampers planning to make any of these? They are Dec 15, 22 and 29 at 10am.
I was thinking of trying to run a fast mile, even though that totally doesn't go with what I'm trying to do with my training right now. If I could make it to ttwo of them maybe I'd do a 3000 and an 800 in the first one (as speedwork) and then just the mile in the 2nd...I dunno. It's not a great time of year for it, but I say every year I want to try and make it to one these.

Runners run.
Nope, gonna get fat over the next few weeks
I've contemplated going before, but I never have. I'd probably do a 200 and 400, even though I should probably grow a pair and take a whack at the mile.
Yeah, you've earned it.

Where the hell is your "Coach" to keep you on track!
2013 Goals:
SELFISH, like you.
I've known about this and past race results are intimidating.
Having promised my family no more racing for the year, I'd love to do the 800 or 3000. So, very unlikely.
Anybody up for the 29th? I'm toying with the idea of going back and trying the 3000. May need to square away some child care coverage though since the wife will be away.
