I've been checking the site almost daily.  "Early Feb" has just been further defined as February 12.

I'm driving further than that so don't whine.  And let me give you some advice.  Get there early.  There are a lot of people doing overnighters there (you'll smell the booze while waiting for the race to start), but with 9000 runners that's a lot of cars all heading to the same place.
