Aiming to PR, so put me down for <19:42.
It should be mathematical, but it's not.
Milktruck say relentless
nobody's racing on 11/11?
Proofread carefully to see if you any words out.

Also, maybe this.
Its killing me too.. There is a USATF road race this weekend in my area. Sergio Reyes won the half there year, 65 min or something stoopid. But, sadly.. Im confined to reading race reports.

I think flatfooter was, til you moved his race.
It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.
Alive & Running
I've been stressed as hell lately and when I'm stressed I don't eat much and run a shitload of miles. Translation, I'm down to 155 lbs and running fast as fuck (well, for me anyway). I'm going to try to sneak in a 5K this Sunday to see what I can do. Won't wear a watch, since I just treat the 5K as a sprint that hurts like hell...relish in that damn pain, you're alive mofo!!
So, here's my "race".
Shrapnel Happens 5K, 11/11/12, Goal = run hard and vomit at the finish. If you must see a goal time, I'd say 17:45 should do the trick.

You mean 16:45, right?
The Logic of Long Distance
Oops (but he posted both dates )
I was just trying to keep everyone guessing . AP is right, it should be 11/11.

Well, supposed to be a few weeks off for me; but I saw this and couldn't pass it up as I don't get the opportunity to race short stuff like this. Was pretty fun too cause a big portion of the UCCS XC guys showed up to run, so there was solid competition. Course had about 85 feet of gain/loss so it was hilly.
Winner took off to run 2:36, and about midway in it strung out with 1,2,3, all kind of on their own and then 4-6 together. Should have made a push to close the 10m gap to them but it just felt so intense so fast I wussed out. Start was really quick though, probably the equivalent of 60-62s laps through the first 100m or so till stuff started stringing out. Ran in jeans and a T-Shirt cause it was what I had with me.
Now back to a couple more weeks of "retirement"
19:33 this morning. 2nd AG and 8th OA. Hamstring tweaked in the last 400m or so, and I got out-kicked by a high school xc runner I was aiming to beat. But a nine second PR, nonetheless.
MTA: I'm slightly more long-winded about it here.

But Och! I backward cast my e'e, On prospects drear! An' forward, tho' I canna see, I guess an' fear!
Had a good one going, but got misled by the police escort in the last mile. Here's the writeup, but split 50:32 through 9 miles.
In it for the long run..
