More Smack Talk - Less Explanation (Read 996 times)

    More smack talk, less explanation.
In honor of Jeff's request on the 2008 Football thread, I thought it would be great reading to have a Swamp smack talk thread but why limit this to Pro Football since there is so much to crack and smack. I plan to keep my smack to football (the US kind Lank but I've got some for you too with that bunch of scrubs at Newcastle Wink) since running smack from me would be in poor form and just plain stupid. Titans vaunted D will be exposed for the sham they are when Peyton and the boys hang 35 on them in two weeks. Of course they will have the best view in the house when he throws for 335 and 3 TD's. PSU is exposed for why they are winning. Jo Pa actually has his head set mic turned off in the booth and the more lucent (re octogenerian) coaches on staff are calling the plays. Once he figures this out and gets back to the daily work of coaching, they will drop one and get booted from THE BCS hunt. Michigan - oh who gives a rats ass. Their so lame this year it not even worth smack talking. Come back when you get a team that can beat someone from the MAC. That should prime the pump and as I read somewhere else here - What Now Bitches. Big grin

JoePa doesn't call plays, and hasn't for years. Your theory is completely flawed.

      Idiot

And Notre Dame / Purdue / IU sucks. (I'm taking multiple shots in the dark, here)

Yes, I do "run in this."  So should you.  The weather is never as bad as it seems from behind your office or car window.

I sure hope Rich-Rod works out long term, b/c he sure isn't doing it short term. If Lloyd hadn't retired, they'd be 5-1 right now (this assumes Ryan Mallet and Justin Born don''t transfer and Adrian Arrington stays for his senior year, all of which would've been high probability w/o the coaching change). But not to worry. I'm on record that we will beat Ohio State. And there's always that yearly automatic win that we have this weekend.

When you're on your deathbed, you won't be wishing that you'd spent more time at the office.  But you will be wishing that you'd spent more time running.  Because if you had, you wouldn't be on your deathbed.

Don't forget Ball State. It's always more fun to smack talk when you know a little about the other person - I'm an ND fan. That should open the flood gates a bit. And Lank - I'm a Bayern Munich fan from birth (I'm a transplanted Deutchlander) and mostly despise the EPL! Elitist pricks that they are. Wink

If I were Dick I would have some clever passive agressive comeback that twists my logic to suit the argument of the minute while blaming it all on you. I'm not that good. "Smack talk does not have to be accurate" - Rule 16B of the smack talk instruction manual If Globule is correct and UM wins this weekend, PSU should just mail it in the rest of the year.

Just happy Ball State is not on Purdue's schedule this year.

Well, you needed it after the loss this weekend.

Good point. Classic Vanderbilt: beat Auburn then lose to Mississippi State. I wouldn't be surprised if they lose out.

It feels good while I do it, but then afterwards I feel guilty and a little dirty.

This sums it up for Vandy - From Rivals.com 31. VANDERBILT (5-1) THE BUZZ: Oh, well, it was fun while it lasted. Now, instead of dreaming about New Year's Day bowls, the Commodores and their fans once again can start to discuss how Nietzsche influenced Sartre.
