" ..that corner has narrowed to a half-nekkid egyptian wandering about in the cold new jersey nighttime."~ R2E
I'm pacing my 8 year old son to about a 33:00 min 5K. My first pacing duties. Only goal is not to walk.
How in the hell are you running again? You did not run Monkey hard enough :-)

Thought I was done racing for 2012 after Baystate, but…nagging goal of sub 17:30 5k still hanging out there. Aiming for a no-watch, just-run-baby, detached, cheetah steak eating, blow out. With XC season over, college kids home from school, super flat course, this has the makings of a good one…
But Och! I backward cast my e'e, On prospects drear! An' forward, tho' I canna see, I guess an' fear!
Alive & Running
I'm not racing, but I am race director for a 5K that benefits an after-school tutoring / mentoring program for inner-city kids. I'm just hoping I don't fuck it up and it can be successful enough to start a Black Friday racing tradition in Minneapolis.

Probably not the easiest race for sub-3, but here it goes...

There is no way this turns out good. I can't get to the fekkin copier at work today, but a beer mile tonight, sure thing.

Have you run a Beer Mile before? That's a pretty aggressive goal. I see you can run the mile in under 5 minutes, but that only leaves you a minute to drink 4 beers. That would be pretty impressive.
Good Luck!

I garauntee I am not in sub-5 shape today. This goal is way off, but so it is written, so it shall be.
No video!!! There should be no evidence when the cops come to haul us away.

Chicagolandia?
Yep Yorkville Julie might bandit with me. She has a track workout the day before as I originally claimed I'd be shuffling.
BUT if my toe feels good and I feel better, I'm going to try and run faster than predicted. Got to get back in shape somewheres....
Or maybe meet her on Saturday and you (?) on Prairie Path Friday or Saturday if you're not dead from your latest shenanigans
Doc, my tooth hurts
Goal A: Sub 30
Goal B: Sub 31
I will have PR'd at 5k, 4 mile, 8k, 10k, and half marathon this year. The only distance I didn't PR at this year will be marathon. I'll have to save that for May.
I fly.
Jill_B - 11/22 - 5k turkey Trot in Chesterbrook, PA...
goal: hmmm... well, my legs still aren't working all that well, but what the heck, I'll aim for 23 flat...
