I am so glad I live in Michigan now where there's no snow.
I ran a mile and I liked it, liked it, liked it.

my sister got me one as a gift a few years ago. it's the polar buff, 1/3 fleece and 2/3 cloth. thought i would never find a use for it. eventually i tried it for running in cold temperatures. it's perfect. fleece around the neck. pull the cloth up over your mouth and maybe nose. stays in place, does not turn into a frozen squid-part like a fleece neck gaiter does. my sister was the smart one.

you log 16 miles, and whadda ya get?
another day older in oxygen debt..
heart meter don't ya call me cuz i can't go...

Don't say that.  We're getting our turn starting tomorrow.

Damn it.

...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING... THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING. LOW PRESSURE MOVING FROM THE TEXAS GULF COAST TONIGHT WILL HEAD INTO THE OHIO VALLEY TUESDAY. THAT LOW WILL GIVE UP ITS ENERGY TO A COASTAL STORM...WHICH WILL DEVELOP ALONG THE NORTHERN NORTH CAROLINA COAST LATE TUESDAY AND TUESDAY EVENING. BY WEDNESDAY MORNING, THIS NOR/EASTER IS FORECAST TO BE INTENSIFYING STRONGLY JUST SOUTHEAST OF OUR AREA...AND LIKELY BRINGING HEAVY SNOW TO A GOOD PART OF OUR AREA THROUGH WEDNESDAY AND PERHAPS INTO WEDNESDAY EVENING. FAR SOUTHERN DELAWARE AND EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN NEW JERSEY MAY START OUT WITH MIXED PRECIPITATION LATE TUESDAY...AND EVEN CHANGE TO RAIN AT TIMES TUESDAY EVENING...BUT AS COLDER AIR WRAPS AROUND THE STORM EVEN THESE AREAS ARE EXPECTED TO CHANGE BACK TO SNOW. THERE IS A LARGE POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY SNOW FOR MUCH OF OUR AREA...BUT AT THIS TIME THE HEAVIEST SNOW MAY FALL OVER NEW JERSEY AND EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA. THERE IS ALSO A POTENTIAL FOR STRONG WINDS...ESPECIALLY NEAR THE COAST.

Run fast sometimes.

Don't let the bastard win.

Our schools have closed for the week.

And the forecast shows another foot of snow tomorrow.

It figures that the season I decide to leave New England to ski in Utah, the snow moves the opposite way and destroys the northeast while here in Salt Lake City it feels like spring.

We all make decisions on where to live.  Some people live where it snows a lot and some people choose to live in Milwaukee.  Don't hate.

I don't live where it snows a lot. It just happens to be snowing a lot at the moment.

MTA: it wouldn't be quite as fascinating if it usually snowed a lot here.
