Speaking of effed up kickers, the Seahawks (kicker really REALLY effed up) are about to sign... Ryan Longwell. Hmm.
And once again Mr. Wizard (aka: Stevie Ray) explains the internet.

Doc, my tooth hurts
Green Bay is an unkown. with Woodson and Matthews back and a lot of young guys on defense - they could come on strong, but I think a big question Mark. I think with a questionable O-Line, a mediocre running game and one of the deepest, best wide receiver groups we are unsure on how many points and how many times A-Rod will get sacked and knocked down. My gripe is McCarthy is famous for getting ultra-conservative if he gets a lead - So I give it a 25% chance for a SF blowout of GB, a 70% chance of a close game and a 5% chance of a GB blowing out SF. oh and GB field goal kicker is mentally all messed up. I think Seattle is going to find out how hard it is to win 2 in a row on the road in the playoffs and will be bombed.

San Francisco is going to be the best offense they have played since the game against the Giants, so I'm not expecting a dominating performance by any means. Also SF has the best offensive line in football by a wide margin. I would be mildly surprised if the Packers win the game, and I really think it takes an "out of character" game from the 49ers to lose. They can control the line on both sides of the ball and really disrupt Rodgers. The Packers do have Aaron Rodgers so they are never out of any game.
I think Seattle won't get blown out if they lose, they haven't been blown out all year. Atlanta has struggled against teams with a mobile QB and a good running game (Carolina, the team whose offense is most like Seattle's) plus this will be the best defense Atlanta has faced all year by far.
Most likely both games with come down to which team turned the ball over more.
Was it all a dream?
But then again if GB hadn't screwed the pooch at Minnesota the last regular season game then this game would be in Green Bay and GB would be favored by 4.
I don't think a team with one of the league's best passing offenses is too unhappy about playing one of the better rushing attacks in California rather than Wisconsin in January. That being said, I wish the Packers were in Atlanta this weekend instead of SF. Having to shuffle centers and plug in a undrafted rookie at RT over the last few weeks doesn't exactly inspire confidence against the SF's D-line.
I'm in the business of misery...

On the AFC side I'd like to see Denver beat Baltimore and New England Beat Houston, then Denver beats New England to make it to the Super Bowl.
On the NFC side I'm undecided. I don't like Atlanta and I'm ambivalent about Seattle. I guess I like Green Bay a little more than San Francisco, so maybe Seattle over Atlanta, Green Bay over San Francisco, then Green Bay over Seattle.
Then a great Super Bowl battle between Denver and Green Bay with Denver FTW.

Wow Peyton Manning fans do exist, New England vs Green Bay would be wicked awesome
And here's a random question, Denver beats no one this year and gets the #1 seed and they are favorites to make the Super Bowl while Atlanta also beats no one this year and is the #1 seed and is expected to not get past this round. Ya I get its Peyton Manning and Matt Ryan but still.
Ben if the Pats play the Packers we gotta have some kind of bet like the losing fan has to do the beer mile at monkey naked or something, ha
Well, he is Archie's boy. And I lived in Knoxville when he played college ball for Tennessee. And I now live in Indy. I could be mistaken for a stalker, but I currently have no plans to move to Denver.
New England vs Green bay would be OK. As long a Green Bay wins.
I've seen that show before and wasn't impressed... Effing John Elway...
The perfect ending would be a late long ball from Rodgers to Greg Jennings (or better if some unknown receiver) and a circus catch determining the outcome.
Heh. Sounds good. Same location, same matchup, same outcome as 1996?
It just gets harder and harder every year to remain a Raiders fan.

I put it under there.
Ouch but Vinatieri was held on Desmond Howards kickoff return, ya im not still bitter.
Been there,done that.
Twice.
I'd love to see Seattle beat Green Bay with another controversial interception at the end of the game.
